Jeff Batchelor takes silver in Gangwon

Oakville, Ontario’s Jeff Batchelor took 2nd, and Squamish, British Colmbia’s Justin Lamoureux placed 5th at the FIS World Snowboard Championships in Gangwon, Korea recently. The silver medal in Korea marked Batchelor’s third career podium on the world cup circuit.
The Canadian women didn’t fare as well, as none were successful in qualifying for the finals. [...]

Winter X 13 - Men’s Slopestyle

Under the flat light of a grey-bird sky today’s men’s slopestyle field treated the fans to what may have been the best slope finals ever!  With 5 of the 8 finals riders scoring 90 or above, Shaun White rose above the competition taking home a record 8th X Games Gold medal.
